He probably just has different numbers I have Yakkon stomping for the same reason, I have Goten and Trunks around #18, Goku equalish to Yakkon, and a pretty big gap between these two sets of characters. Besides, didn't Lazuli fight both Goten and Trunks as SSJs? With Lapis even stronger to rival Piccolo, who I think is just a tiny bit below base Saiyans, I can see Lapis and Lazuli winning. Plus, they can fire a barrage of Ki blasts so Yakon's dumb tail will just poof. Base Adult Saiyans >~ Yakon >~ Piccolo = Lapis > / > SSJ Goten and Trunks = Lazuli > Base Kids

They did say they'd be at a disadvantage in the costume, even as Super Saiyans though, so take from that what you will.

True but like I said before, their movements were restricted as evident by statements. 18 having an upper hand against the Kids despite being about equal with them would only be expected here. If 2 people at equal strengths fight and one has a handicap of sorts, the one without the handicap would obviously hold the advantage.
